Commercial Interiors | Project with Evo Business Environments | Karen E. Segrave

I once again have the opportunity to work with EVO Business Environments on two recent projects for the Arkansas Federal Credit Union. The first project was photos for their IT headquarters located in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Every other IT department I’ve ever been in was closed off, dark, boring and completely devoid of any atmosphere. AFCUs redo was just the opposite.

A warm and inviting foyer seamlessly flowed into the main work room that features open air cubicles, a common sitting area, and privacy work stations for phone calls.

My favorite part of the building was completely random, abstract and unique wall murals and graphics located in just about every work area. The murals were not directly part of Evo’s redesign. They were found by the VP of marketing for AFCU. My favorite (third in next series) was the gorilla in the main space holding up a bright, pink stick mask.

My last project of 2019 with EVO was AFCU’s newest branch located in Hot Springs. This new construction location boasted a very non-bank look.

Tons of natural light, neutral tones and a bright and airy common space flowed into the teller counters that weren’t your typical bank vibe.

Several offices were off to the left and featured a farmhouse glass doors on a metal tract and with privacy diffusion panels

I look forward to any photo shoot I have with Evo Business Environments because I know I will be photographing another beautifully decorated workspace.

My recent project for Evo at Coulson Oil did not disappoint.

Coulson OIl was already a new client of mine. I had worked with them in depth on a recent project to provide art work for their new corportate headquarters which, at the time, was still under construction. I found out towards the end of my project that Evo was providing the interiors so I was very excited at the prospect of photographing the new HQ when it was completed….and seeing my artwork on the walls. You can read more on that project elsewhere on my blog.

What I love about working with Evo is each new location I photograph for them offers a completely different look and feel than the one before.

Commercial Interiors | Cromwell Architects Engineers | Arkansas Advertising Photographer

Arkansas-based Evo Business Environments is leading the way in redesigning the workplace.

Evo contacted me early in 2018 to photograph a series of their recent projects. I photographed Arkansas Automatic Sprinklers back in April. You can see that blog post here.  I was first introduced to the Evo's work when I photographed the Little Rock Tech Park in 2017. You can see that blog post here.

Earlier this summer, Evo asked me to photograph Cromwell Architects Engineers after they moved into their new home located in Little Rock's East Village. The building, built in 1947, was the home of Sterling Paint and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is an intact example of a post-war commercial and industrial building and is the only industrial building designed by Burks and Anderson, prominent Arkansas architects.

The president's office was hands down my favorite space with its warm tones accented with mid-century modern furnishings. During the renovation, they kept the wood panel walls. The rest of the space is just as impressive. The whole workspace is filled with natural light and open work spaces. Evo opted for a classic black and white palatte with pops of Cromwell brand orange.
